As Lead Systems Administrator in the IT Infrastructure Operations team, you will be joining a dynamic team transforming the IT landscape for this growing, global SaaS company. With a focus on streamlining, automation, consolidating, rationalizing our tech stack, and establishing operationally sound and secure solutions, this role will play a critical role in taking the IT team to the next level. The need to work across cloud and SaaS platforms will require broad technical knowledge and a willingness to continually learn, as we grow and adapt new technologies.
 
 

What You’ll Do: 
  • Management of the Office 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, InTune, and other associated applications, leading the administration efforts to adopt best practices to ensure seamless operation
  • Management and support of other mission critical SaaS environments including Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, as well as Azure and AWS public cloud
  • Administration and support for local network, WiFi, Office Internet, and other network services (e.g. DNS, DKIM, DHCP)
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary solutions to maintain optimal performance and reliability of services
  • Oversee Identify and access management capabilities using Okta and Active Directory, including onboarding of applications in Okta including SSO, MFA, and SCIM provisioning
  • Configure and maintain security settings, user permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance
  • Utilize PowerShell and other scripting and automation techniques to streamline administrative tasks, automate routine processes, and improve overall efficiency in managing SaaS environments
  • Lead IT initiatives and projects from planning through implementation to deliver high quality solutions
  • Lead efforts around knowledge sharing, embracing the concept of shifting work to the Service Desk or geographically to India resources to improve overall productivity and help drive cost effective service delivery
What You’ll Bring: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Okta, Cisco) are a plus
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering cloud platforms (Office 365, Azure, AWS), including full lifecycle management (design, deployment, management, deprecation) of VMs, containers, and application resources
  • Proven experience managing key enterprise tools such as Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune), Okta, Atlassian, Slack, and Zoom
  • Expertise in identity and access management (SSO/MFA, SCIM), preferably with Okta, and strong understanding of DNS and networking protocols with experience in Cisco or Meraki
  • Familiarity with SOC- or ISO-compliant environments, demonstrating understanding of security standards and compliance practices
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, system management, and process efficiency; experience with other automation/scripting also beneficial
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues independently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management experience with a proven ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex IT initiatives
  • Ability to document technical processes and train both technical and non-technical teams for consistent operational success
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work independently and lead initiatives while being an effective team player focused on collective goals
  • Strong sense of teamwork, with a focus on achieving collective success and contributing to a positive team dynamic
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Okta, Cisco, or other relevant certifications highly preferred
