Employ is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer (we call them Solutions Consultants) to join our growing team and expand our presence in the market. In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to demonstrate the value of our solution to talent leaders and technologists around the world. You will advise prospective customers on industry trends and recruiting best practices, overcome common objections and compliance considerations, and recommend the configurations, integrations, and customizations needed to win new business.   

As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll get to use your technical know-how and passion for people to make a direct impact on Employ’s revenue growth. You’ll expand your technical skill set, develop industry expertise, and influence the development of new features. Most importantly, you’ll get to help some of the most innovative companies in the world hire the talent they need to grow and scale.

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes of our software to articulate use cases and value to the customer.
  • Participate in selling the value of Employ products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live/online product demonstrations
  • Support the sales team by taking a consultative role in prospective customers’ evaluation processes, including making configuration recommendations, providing best-practice guidance, and explaining integration capabilities
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs as necessary, Employage and build upon existing knowledge base
  • Stay up-to-date on product releases and new features, assist in training new hires and colleagues in the field
  • Document and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field
  • Master and maintain detailed knowledge of Employ's product-suite configuration options.
  •  Articulate and educate on technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including developers, architects, and IT professionals
  • Proven analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting expertise

What you’ll bring:  

  • Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to senior level business and technical audiences
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs
  • Ability to learn and assimilate technical information quickly
  • Familiar with multiple integration techniques including Web Services and APIs
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Consultative problem solver with 2+ years of SaaS Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering experience and proven track record of success
  • Technology enthusiast with a knack for making complex or technical concepts easy for anyone to understand
  • Skilled presenter with strong communication skills that can deliver informative and effective presentations
  • Active and empathetic listener capable of uncovering root problems and  making recommendations that achieve the intended outcome
  • History of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
