Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Sr Director of Data and Analytics will lead our analytics teams working across all of Employ’s products, as well as act as a thought leader in the data engineering space. We are looking for a leader passionate about building systems at scale, shaping technical strategy and data architecture, and developing data products to enable reporting, analytics, data science, machine learning and potential AI workloads. 

Primary Areas of Focus: 

What you will do:  

  • Lead the global Data & Analytics team, establish a strong presence in India 

  • Develop data products using modern data architecture, engineering practices and tools to process, store, and expose governed and trusted datasets and metrics 

  • Build capabilities in data engineering that power better analytics offerings, as well as lay the foundation for machine learning capabilities 

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure goals and objectives are being delivered on time 

  • Manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders in other business units to align strategic direction 

What you will bring:  

  • 15+ years of experience in SaaS organizations, with at least 10+ years in the data space 

  • Proficient in SaaS based data warehousing software (eg: BigQuery, Snowflake) and related technologies such as Kafka and Airflow 

  • Ability to effectively present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Experience with modern agile project organization and practices 

  • Excellent people and communication skills - leading by influence and change management 

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
